The tour starts with an introduction to Argentina, with a stay in the splendid and vibrant city of Buenos Aires. We will then take you down to crumbling Perito Moreno Glacier and across the border to explore Torres del Paine National Park, considered one of the most beautiful areas in the world, before you embark on a four night navigation of the straits of Magellan and the Beagle Channel around Cape Horn to Ushuaia.

Eolo sits on a 10,000-acre estancia in the Patagonian steppe between the town of El Calafate and the majestic Perioto Merino glacier.
The hotel has been built to ensure that wherever you are, you can take in these incredible views. Eolo is centred around a courtyard garden, a nifty bit of architecture that means guests can enjoy the great outdoors whilst being protected from the wild Patagonian winds.
There are 17 beautiful rooms characterised by pastel colours and simple lines. Nothing is overly complicated here, simplicity is key when your surroundings are so dramatic. There are no televisions in the rooms, instead guests are encouraged to curl up on one of the sofas that are placed in front of the large picture windows. Eolo was inspired by the historic estancias of the area and you’ll find antiques, maps, telescopes and lots of other traditional touches.
The food at Eolo is a real highlight. Excellent local, seasonal produce is used to create a dynamic and exciting menu. The views that await from your dining table make the experience even sweeter.
This is an area begging to be explored, and there are plenty of activites on offer. Hiking, horseriding, birdwatching and mountain biking are some of the experiences to keep you busy. At the hotel itself there is an area for relaxation with a small heated pool, dry sauna and massage room.

Accessed by crossing the Cristina Channel of Lago Argentino by boat, Estancia Cristina enjoys a truly stunning setting. The journey to the lodge allows excellent viewing of the Upsala Glacier, one of the largest in the region, and once you arrive you are treated to views of the majestic Norte, Pfister and Moyano mountains.
20 rooms are split between five cabins and are appointed with warm fabrics and large picture windows from which to appreciate the particularly spectacular views.
Service and food are excellent – the Patagonia lamb, fresh vegetables and homemade breads are a delight. You wouldn’t think that the spectacular Patagonian region of Torres del Paine could get any better regarding luxurious design-led hotels, but it has, courtesy of the exclusive sibling hotel to Awasi Atacama, and the only lodge in the area to offer tailor-made excursions for each guest. Adding to that, a portion of the proceeds from each guest’s stay helps to support The Awasi Patagonia Conservation Project, which aims to create a natural corridor for wildlife. Awasi guides also help to monitor the puma populations and keep hunters away, increasing the properties, and its guests, positive impact on the region.

Perhaps the most famous hotel in all of Chile, the Explora Patagonia one of the most stunning settings in the world.
Simple and cool from the exterior, things could not be more different once inside. There are large picture windows everywhere (even in the bathrooms) to make the most of the stunning vistas surrounding the hotel. Much of the furniture is hand crafted from local wood and slate, and there are many little design touches to make things more comfortable. The hotel also has a large indoor swimming pool and outdoor jacuzzis.

Housed in the restored, post-Victorian cold-storage factory “Frigorifico Puerto Bories” first built in 1915, the Singular is in fact a National Monument and has been sympathetically and stylishly converted into one of Patagonia’s most elegant exploration hotels. By this we mean its remoteness has in no way inhibited its refinement.
Located on the shores of the Señoret Channel, at the end of the Ultima Esperanza Sound, Singular is ideally placed for expeditions to some of Patagonia’s most inaccessible parts and sights. Navigating through the breathtaking waterways of Tierra del Fuego, the Australis boats are the perfect way to explore this unique landscape.
The Via Australis has just 64 cabins, allowing this to be a more intimate and personal service than larger ships. All rooms are equipped with low bed, private bathroom facilities, independently controlled heating and a large window from which to enjoy the view.
The ship has been designed with making the most of the rooms, with large windows in all communal areas. There are two lounge bars, an observation deck, excellent restaurant and also a games room.

Navigating through the breath-taking waterways of Tierra del Fuego, the Australis boats are the perfect way to explore this unique landscape.
The Stella Australis has 100 cabins and offers passengers the chance to travel across the end of the world in comfort and luxury. Each cabin has picture windows, independent climate control, a private bathroom and a satellite phone.
The ship has three lounges, a dining room, an exercise room and of course a spacious open deck area from which to observe the enchanting scenery and wildlife at all times.
Cape Horn Cruise - 4N/5D Punta Arenas to Ushuaia: Day One
Boarding at the Punta Arenas, the ship will set sail for your journey to "the ends of the earth" at around 6pm that evening with a welcome drinks and reception given by the captain and crew before dinner.
Cape Horn Cruise: Day Two
Sailing through the night, by dawn the ship will have reached the Almirantazgo Sound, arriving at Ainsworth Bay in the Alberto de Agostini National Park. From here, if the weather conditions are right – you will be able to see the Marinelli Glacier tumbling down the Darwin Mountain Range and your guides will explain how life begins after the retreat of the ice. Disembarking the ship there will be a walk to the Beaver Dam through the spectacular subpolar Magellanic forest to a beach to observe elephant seals (depending on the colony’s location that day). Boarding the ship again you will sail through the Tuckers Islets and after lunch Zodiac boats will take you to see the Magellanic Penguins and Cormorants.
(In September and April this last excursion is replaced by a tour to Brookes Bay and short walk to the glacier).
Cape Horn Cruise: Day Three
The morning will be spent navigating the Beagle Channel to reach the Pia Fjord to disembark near the Pia Glacier for a short hike to a lookout point with fantastic views of the glacier tongue stretching from mountain to sea. The remainder of the afternoon will be spent gliding through the northwest arm of the Beagle Channel and majestic Glacier Alley.
Cape Horn Cruise: Day Four
Today your cruise takes you from Cape Horn to the Wulaia Bay. Through the morning you will sail through the Murray Channel and Nassau Bay to reach Cape Horn National Park where you will disembark (weather permitting) to discover this important and mythical navigation route between the Pacific and Atlantic discovered in 1616. With its sheer 425m high rock headland this park was declared a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. After lunch there will be an on-land excursion at the historic Wulaia Bay, the site of the largest Yamana aboriginal settlements and where Charles Darwin landed in 1833 during the voyage of HMS Beagle. Known for its mesmerizing topography and fauna there will be walk through the Magellanic forest of lengas, coihues, canelos, and ferns to reach a lookout point to marvel at the surrounding dramatic scenery.
Cape Horn Cruise: Day Five
Docking at the Argentinean port city of Ushuaia at approximately 8am, you will disembark the ship here for the next step of your trip.

The Faena Buenos Aires is a striking design hotel in the waterside neighborhood of Puerto Madero, the brainchild of local empresario Alan Faena and designer Philippe Starck.
The hotel is located in the restored El Porteño building, an enormous silo built in 1902 that produced grain for post-war Europe. The decor encapsulates the grandeur of the belle epoque that characterised Buenos Aires at the turn of last centrury. A red, black and white colour scheme runs through the hotel teamed with exposed brick walls and concrete pillars that hark back to its industrious past.
Rooms and suites are filled with eye catching touches such as hand embroidered throws and filifree mirrors and feature huge windows which look out over Ecological Reserve, the parks, Río de la Plata and the quaysides of Puerto Madero.
Eating and drinking at the Faena is a real treat. Enjoy fine dining at Bistro Sur where the menu is inspired by the finest seasonal Argentinian produce, or opt for something more casual at El Mercado which is inspired by the country’s famous cantinas and the open air markets of Europe. | Cape Horn Cruise - 4N/5D Punta Arenas to Ushuaia: Day One Boarding at the Punta Arenas, the ship will set sail for your journey to "the ends of the earth" at around 6pm that evening with a welcome drinks and reception given by the captain and crew before dinner. |

| Cape Horn Cruise: Day Two Sailing through the night, by dawn the ship will have reached the Almirantazgo Sound, arriving at Ainsworth Bay in the Alberto de Agostini National Park. From here, if the weather conditions are right – you will be able to see the Marinelli Glacier tumbling down the Darwin Mountain Range and your guides will explain how life begins after the retreat of the ice. Disembarking the ship there will be a walk to the Beaver Dam through the spectacular subpolar Magellanic forest to a beach to observe elephant seals (depending on the colony’s location that day). Boarding the ship again you will sail through the Tuckers Islets and after lunch Zodiac boats will take you to see the Magellanic Penguins and Cormorants.

| Cape Horn Cruise: Day Three The morning will be spent navigating the Beagle Channel to reach the Pia Fjord to disembark near the Pia Glacier for a short hike to a lookout point with fantastic views of the glacier tongue stretching from mountain to sea. The remainder of the afternoon will be spent gliding through the northwest arm of the Beagle Channel and majestic Glacier Alley. |

| Cape Horn Cruise: Day Four Today your cruise takes you from Cape Horn to the Wulaia Bay. Through the morning you will sail through the Murray Channel and Nassau Bay to reach Cape Horn National Park where you will disembark (weather permitting) to discover this important and mythical navigation route between the Pacific and Atlantic discovered in 1616. With its sheer 425m high rock headland this park was declared a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. After lunch there will be an on-land excursion at the historic Wulaia Bay, the site of the largest Yamana aboriginal settlements and where Charles Darwin landed in 1833 during the voyage of HMS Beagle. Known for its mesmerizing topography and fauna there will be walk through the Magellanic forest of lengas, coihues, canelos, and ferns to reach a lookout point to marvel at the surrounding dramatic scenery. |
